User's Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms

 

By using Soucetour you agree to all the terms bellow.

 

Description of Services

 

We provide services that allow you to search & book activities.  We will develop more features and services in the future.

 

Registration Data and Privacy

 

To fully use the services you need to create your own account, without violating other peoples' rights. 

 

We might have to share your information with the tour or activity operator, only if you have purchased their activity. 

 

All payment are done through PayPal.  We never receive your credit card information.  You can read PayPal policies here.

 

We will keep record of your activity for improving the site.  If we need to use the data for our own presentations or in any other case, it will be anonymous.

 

Conduct on Site

 

You cannot use our site to post pornography, harass people, send spam and do other crazy stuff.  Be reasonable and don't do anything that would offend normal people.

 

Third Party Sites and Information

 

We work hard to verify all the 3rd party content that is and will be posted in Sourcetour, but we are not responsible for it.  If any of this offends you, please E-mail info@sourcetour.com we will verify, and take the proper measures.

All the content you will find in Soucetour it's our property.  We have legally registered our trademark and you may contact info@sourcetour.com in case you want permission to use it. 

 

Some images have been downloaded from Flickr, we have asked permission and have the documents that back-it up.  If in any case you find an image that belong to you and haven't received notification please contact us.

 

We are setting up a community of photographer that will take the pictures of all the tours and we will upload them as Creative Commons.  You will be able to download and use the pictures in any way you need.  But they must have the trademark of Creative Commons.  

Use our content, but if you do something nice, please let us know.

 

Restrictions of Content and Use of the Services

 

We are able to delete any content at any time.  If we see something weird we will take the required measure so our users and company is not damaged.

 

Unauthorized Use of Materials

 

Everything you send us without specifying it's private, will be non-confidential.  We reserve the right to do whatever we consider it's appropriate.  If you see something wrong tell us:

Payment

 

We are the "middleman", the way we operate is; tour and activity operator give us their services at a lower price than the available in the market.  And we charge them a commission.  At the moment it varies from 10 - 20% but we are trying to make it fix at 15%

 

To the selling price we increment a 5.4% due to PayPal commission and a 12% due to Guatemalan VAT.

Payment Logistics

 

When you buy in Sourcetour, we put on hold the money in your credit or debit card.  Confirm availability, and then do the charge. 

 

We transfer to the provider a 50% of the total in advance, and send the rest when the user has done the service.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

 

If you cancel your purchase 5 days prior to the activity we will refund 80%. 10 of this is for the tour or activity provider and the other 10 to cover costs of refunds.

 

If you cancel with less than 3 days in advance we won't be able to refund you. *

Donations

 

At the moment we don't have a donation program, we look forward to implement it, one of our core values is give back.  

 

Taxes

 

In the total price we have included 12% due to the VAT in Guatemala.

 

Damages

 

We are responsible for any damage caused by our fault.  We are not liable for third party mistakes.  You are 100% responsible of your acts, and will be required to answer in case any damage is done by your fault.

 

Disclaimer of Warranties

Limitation of Liability

 

We are not responsible in case any major disaster.  Communication is vital; if any thing occurs that might alter your plans or activity, keep us notified.
